PSC & Ebtediya Exam 2019 will be beginning on 19th November (Sunday) 2019 and it will be done on 26th November (Sunday) 2019. PSC Exam 2019 will start from 11:00 am. PSC Scholarship Result Date

Last year PSC Scholarship Result 2019 was announced on 11th April (Tuesday) 2020 at noon. Primary &Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman was announced that result by a press conference. That result was published at Secretariat Office. This year total 82 Thousands, 4 Hundreds & 59 students were getting PSC Scholarship 2020.

জানা গেছে, প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনী পরীক্ষার ফলের ভিত্তিতে ৮২ হাজার ৫০০ শিক্ষার্থীকে বৃত্তি দেবে সরকার। তাদের মধ্যে ৩৩ হাজার শিক্ষার্থীকে মেধাবৃত্তি এবং সাড়ে ৪৯ হাজার শিক্ষার্থীকে সাধারণ বৃত্তি দেয়া হবে। রোববার সংবাদ সম্মেলনের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষা প্রতিমন্ত্রী মো. জাকির হোসেন বৃত্তির ফল ঘোষণা করবেন।

Before that, in general quota, 33 Thousands & in merit quota (Talent pool) 22 Thousands students were receiving that scholarship. But now in PSC Scholarship 2020, entire 49 Thousands & 5 Hundreds students were being paid in general quotas. , 33 Thousands students be receiving scholarship in merit quota (Talent pool).

Primary scholarship has been divided by 2 types. The amount of scholarship also is differing from each other. They are given below:-

  • Talent pool Scholarship: BDT. 300 in every month. Total BDT. 3,600 in every year.
  • General Scholarship: BDT. 225 in each month. Total BDT. 2,700 in each year.

Period of the scholarship:

Both of Talent pool Scholarship & General Scholarship students will get 3 years period of time in this scholarship. That means till than class 8.

Who Will Get PSC Scholarship 2020?

Those who have done the best results in PSC exam in their respective Union/Police stations/districts will get a scholarship. In the general quota, every 6 students (three boy students and three girl students) would get scholarships in each of the seven thousand and 946 union parishads/municipal wards which is a total of 47 thousand and 676 scholarships.

A total of 1,527 general scholarships will be provided again to every 3 students (one boy student, one girl student and one on the basis of merit) of every 509 Upazillas/thanas.  From the remaining 297 general scholarships, every four more students (two boy students and two girl students) in each district will be given another 256 scholarships in a total of 64 districts.

সাধারণ কোটায় ইউনিয়ন ও পৌরসভার প্রতিটি ওয়ার্ডে ছয়টি করে বৃত্তি দেয়া হবে। এরমধ্যে তিনজন ছাত্রী ও তিনজন ছাত্র। এছাড়া ওয়ার্ড পর্যায়ে বৃত্তি প্রদানের পর অবশিষ্ট বৃত্তি হতে প্রতিটি উপজেলায় বা থানায় দুই জন ছাত্র ও দুই জন ছাত্রীকে বৃত্তি দেয়া হবে। প্রতি বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থীদের ফলাফলের ভিত্তিতে প্রতিটি বিভাগ হতে তিনটি করে ২৪টি সাধারণ বৃত্তি প্রদানের পর চারটি সাধারণ বৃত্তি সংরক্ষণ করা হবে।

This scholarship is provided to prevent dropout, increase attendance, recognition of merit and balanced intellectuals students from schools by the Government. Scholarship is given to Upazila based. Only PSC exam passed students can get it.

Earlier than by taking an extra examination this scholarship was given to class 5 students. But in 2010, only Primary School Certificate (PSC) exam passed students get that scholarship.
